The Fairways complex is situated in the urbanisation of Marbesa. Built to a high specification, it was once part of the Alanda Group and is now part of a community owned by private individuals. Being beach side of the main Costa del Sol road, it is very popular with families as it is only a 5 minute walk through private residential villas and apartments to the beach of Carib Playa. All along the shore line there are plenty of chiringuitos (beach bars) serving fresh fish and seafood. It is within walking distance of 'Pueblito Andaluz' (a tiny village with bar, restaurant, hairdresser) and also within walking-distance across the road- bridge to a well-stocked supermarket 'OPENCOR' which is open 7 days a week.
